Terry Fossum, winner of Fox’s Kicking and Screaming survival reality show, will be speaking to leaders from the Narragansett Council, Boy Scouts of America at their annual University of Scouting event on January 13 at East Providence High School.

University of Scouting is a day-long event that offers over 40 courses for Scout leaders to learn how to improve their Scouts’ experiences.

Fossum, a United States Air Force Officer, business leader, philanthropist and reality TV personality, will speak to Scout leaders about his experiences and offer insight on how to lead.  Fossum credits Scouting for changing his life as a child, and for leading him to success on Kicking and Screaming.

Fossum’s speaking engagements at other Scouting events have been lauded as ‘the most effective story ever told at a Scout fundraising event’.
