AM 1540 WADK Newport will host their 31st Annual Christmas Concert on Wednesday, December 13th at the Newport Marriott on America’s Cup Avenue.
The WADK Christmas Concert, which is scheduled to begin at 7 pm, will feature live music from the Jamestown Community Chorus and Larry Brown’s Swinglane Orchestra.
While the event is free and open to the public, donations of non-perishable food items are encouraged. Donations will support the efforts of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center to help feed our hungry Newport County neighbors.
The WADK Christmas Concert is an official Christmas In Newport event, the listing for the event states;
31st annual WADK Christmas Concert at The Newport Marriott, 7 p.m. 25 America’s Cup Ave. with Larry Brown’s Swinglane Orchestra and a local choral group. Free admission. Donations of non-periishable food items for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Center are welcome.
