Kathy Martin, voted one of Rhode Island’s “Best Trainers” and a former founder/co-owner of Pulse Newport, is opening Elevate Fitness (with a party) on Friday, November 10.

Martin has over 20 years experience and is known for her always-popular boot camps and dynamic fitness classes.

Elevate is going to become the go-to studio for boot camps and classes. The staff and management is dialed in on the fitness community on the island and has established a network of wellness providers to provide the ultimate in health and wellness services.

The new, spacious 2600 square foot studio is located in the Aquidneck Corporate Park overlooking First Beach and the Newport reservoir. The weekly schedule will feature a variety of Newport’s best instructors and have options for all levels including Martin’s signature boot camps, classes for foam rolling, cardio, weightlifting, HIIT, yoga, and more.

“Elevate Fitness will be unlike any other studio in the area by offering the Fitmetrix Heart Rate Program,” says Martin in a news release. “The cutting-edge, interactive technology allows you to track your workouts in real-time and after your sessions. There’s just nothing else like it around here & we expect to take our client’s fitness to a whole new level.”

Clients who opt into the technology will receive end of workout summaries via email and the Fitmetrix app, allowing them to track their progress and trainers to help them improve where needed.

“For those looking to step up their fitness game in a whole new way, this is it,” she says. “And for those not interested, you can just enjoy your workout as you always have.”

The Opening Party will be Friday, November 10 from 5 pm – 7 pm. Guests will be able to view the new space, try out the Fitmetrix Heart Rate Program, enter raffles for free classes, and enjoy food and drink. Those who bring a friend will get an extra entry into the raffle.
