How is it that someone can go from earning a degree in psychology, with a concentration in situation theory and social influence to being the voice of a talking ball of mucus in commercials for Mucinex?

T.J. Miller, recognized among the top comics today and winner of a Critics’ Choice Award for his role in the HBO comedy series Silicon Valley, is that someone and he will headline this year’s Rogue Island Comedy Festival in early October.

T.J. joined What’s Up Newp’s Frank Prosnitz on Tuesday on WADK 1540AM to talk about that transition, his career, the importance of comedy during stressful times, and his upcoming appearance on October 8th at Jane Pickens Theater as part of the 2017 Rogue Island Comedy Festival.
