It’s no secret that Whalers Brewing has sky-rocketed in local bars and restaurants around Rhode Island this past year. Thanks to their Brewery Rep Greg Horton who got the beer into more than 300 bars and liquor stores between Newport and Massachusetts.

Founded in 2011, Wes, Josh, and the team have been pumping out their flagship beers such as East Coast IPA, The Rise, and Blockstar. It wasn’t long until they started expanding and then distributing in 2013 where we were able to carry a pretty wide variety of local beer from Whalers. Often when we get visitors to Newport, everyone wants something new and local.

Recently, Whalers was entered in the World Beer Awards taking home Best Pale Ale and Best Witbier, Congrats Guys! With over 10,000 breweries in the world, it was a huge win for a local brewery.

Here at the pub, we’ve watched this brand grow with exciting new beer and can’t wait to see what’s next. Come enjoy a pint of Whalers 365 days a year, 7 days a week!
