Residents in Rhode Island Senate District 13 (Newport, Jamestown) will go to the polls on Tuesday, August 22nd to decide who will replace M. Teresa Paiva Weed at the State House.
Paiva Weed resigned in the spring to take a position as executive director of the Hospital Association of Rhode Island.
