Marc Allen Fine Clothiers, with locations in Providence and Newport, has been named the exclusive America’s Cup retailer in Rhode Island.

Sold exclusively at their location in Newport at 142 Bellevue Avenue, Marc Allen has announced that they will donate 15% of all America’s Cup merchandise sold through Labor Day to Sail Newport. Each year, Sail Newport provides sailing events, instruction, rental and sailing center services to thousands of children and adults.

Marc Allen was chosen as the exclusive retailer of America’s Cup merchandise because of the company’s reputation in the local community as a top-notch men’s clothier, according to a press release. “We are so pleased to exclusively sell this great gear to sailing enthusiasts and novices alike,” said Marc Streisand, owner, Marc Allen Fine Clothiers. “Our Bellevue Avenue shop is already nautically themed and this line is a nice complement to our fine, European brands. We look forward to supporting Sail Newport through this endeavor and through future opportunities as well. You cannot operate a business in Newport without a love of the water and sailing.”
