What happens at the State House, doesn’t stay at the State House. It reaches into our pocketbooks, our schools, our highways, the air we breathe and the water we drink.

That’s why this Senate District 13 election on August 22nd is so important, and that’s why AM 1540 WADK and What’sUpNewp will present a LIVE candidates’ forum on August 15th, from 5 pm to 7 pm.

This live radio forum will include Democratic candidate Dawn Euer, Republican candidate Michael Smith, Independent candidate Kimberly Ripoli and Green Party candidate Gregory Larson.

The event will be moderated by Frank Prosnitz, a radio show host on AM 1540 WADK and contributor to What’sUpNewp, and Ryan Belmore, Owner and Editor of What’sUpNewp and What’sUpRhodeIsland.

We’ll ask tough questions that will reveal important differences between the candidates and help YOU decide how YOU’LL vote on August 22nd. As informed voters, we CAN make a difference.  Listen to the debate live on  AM 1540 WADK, or catch the podcast later on WhatsUpNewp.com or WADK.com.

Have a question for the candidates? E-mail them now to Ryan@whatsupnewp.com, call into the live forum on August 15th or ask during our Facebook Live broadcast.
