Seastreak has announced that they have canceled the Newport to Providence Ferry’s last departure of the day from Providence and Newport  on Tuesday, July 4th.

The cancellations of the 9:30 pm ferry departing Providence and 10:45 pm ferry departing Newport due to the Providence fireworks display.

The departures are canceled due to the fireworks display in Providence Harbor. Seastreak made the same decision, to cancel the last two trips of the day, in 2016.

The last ferry departure of the day will be at 6:30 pm in Providence and 7:30 pm in Newport.

Regular service will resume on Wednesday, July 5.
