March in Newport has us all buzzing about the Annual Newport St. Patrick’s Day Parade, but Aquidneck Island has a ton of great events going on all month. The team at Newport Vineyards has lined up more than a few them, and they’re excited to share upcoming dates for live music, comedy, classes, chef’s dinners and more.
“We’re especially excited about the Fireside Live Music Series,” said Cassandra Earle, Newport Vineyards Director of Marketing and Events. “We kicked the series off last month (Feb 24th) with Bill Bartholomew of Silverteeth and Christopher Knott – and over one hundred friends enjoyed an extended evening wine tasting, sitting by the fire pits, enjoying light fare from the Vineyard Café, all while the sunset set over the vineyard.”
The series will continue March 24th with Wind in Sails, a group led by local Evan Pharmakis. Check out Newport Vineyards events for the next month below – including one event happening tonight! Buy your tickets and mark your calendars.

April 1st – April Fools Barrel of Laughs Comedy Show
Kick off April at Newport Vineyards for an April Fools evening of wine and a barrel of laughs as host and comedian Jeremy Furtado welcomes comedians from around the region and headliner Greg Stone.
While it’s often said that tragedy plus time equals comedy, it could just as easily be said that enthusiasm minus caution equals comedian Greg Stone. Regarded by his peers as one of the funniest storytellers in New York, Greg is a fixture at many of Manhattan’s top comedy clubs and independent shows, where he shares true stories of the highs and lows caused by his lack of inhibition. Greg has recently performed on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, TruTV’s “Friends of the People,” and AXS TV’s “Gotham Comedy Live.” Bowing to the increasing demand that he be heard and not seen, Greg has also been featured on Sirius/XM Radio’s The Bennington Show, hit podcasts like “Tuesdays with Stories” and not-a-hit-but-still-hilarious podcasts like “The Rad Dudecast,” which Greg co-hosts with Anthony DeVito and Brendan Eyre.
Make it dinner and a show with reservations at BRIX Restaurant or our Vineyard Cafe (staying open late exclusively for the show!). Reservations required, please call 401.848.5161 x2.
