With the temperature expected to drop down to 14 degrees overnight on Sunday, January 8, 2017 the City of Newport has announced that the Seamen’s Church Institute will be open beyond their normal of hours operation (listed below) for those that need to seek shelter from the cold.  Their extended hours will be from 4 pm, Sunday, January 8th to 7 am, Monday, January 9th.

The City of Newport asks that residents pass this message on to others in the community that might not have the ability to access or receive this communication, but would benefit from its content.
