There’s at least two storm systems that could bring snow to Aquidneck Island this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
The first chance of snow is between Thursday evening at 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday evening. the National Weather Service is forecasting that Newport will likely see 2″ of snow, but there is the potential to see up to 5″.
The greatest chance of snow is mainly after 11 p.m. on Thursday and before 11 a.m. on Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
UPDATE: At 3:17 p.m. on Thursday, the National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our area.
