1 – New Year’s Eve Wine Dinner at Brick Alley Pub: 7 p.m. – 12 a.m. (ish)
Tickets are available now for Brick Alley Pub’s New Year’s Eve Wine Dinner. The menu starts with BAP’s famous Appetizer Reception and concludes with a “Happy New Year’s” Toast at midnight! 2 – 2016 New Years Celebration at Hotel Viking: 5pm, 7pm & 9 pm seatings
Celebrate the New Year at Hotel Viking! Join them for a three New Years Eve dinner seatings at 5pm, 7pm, or 9pm. Dinner includes salad, entree, and dessert. The 9pm seating includes Champagne toast, party favors, and table cocktail service. Live entertainment in the One Bellevue Lounge. More Info
3 – New Year’s Eve at Newport Vineyards
Ring in the New Year fireside with Executive Chef Andy Teixeira’s 5-course menu, complete with optional wine pairings. $100 with wine pairings or $80 without wine pairings (tax + gratuity additional). 4 – New Year’s Eve at Gas Lamp Grille
Enjoy a 3 Course Dinner for $40 or $50, plus an A la carte menu available for the lighter eaters. The evening features 2 floors of entertainment w/ American Idol finalist Erika Van Pelt, & DJ Remedy. 5 – New Year’s Eve Dinner at Salt Water at Newport Harbor Hotel
Saltwater’s three course Pre Fixe Menu features their gluten free Saltwater Signature Clam Chowder or Wedge Salad, your choice of Surf and Turf, Grilled Halibut, or Roasted Half Chicken and your choice of Saltwater Chocolate Bomb or Fresh Fruit Tart! Complement your dinner with their Signature Sangria and you are sure to have a Happy New Year. Their three-course dinner starts at $45.00 per person and does not include tax, gratuity or beverages.
Reservations are accepted for 5PM, 7PM, and 9PM in their Harborside dining room and open seating is available in our Fire Side lounge including our community tables.

6 – 2016 Tiki Bash at The Revolving Door Restaurant: 10 p.m. – 1 a.m.
Enjoy Tiki cocktails from master mixologist Jason Kindness and a whole roasted pig! Ugly Hawaiian shirts are optional but encouraged. Tickets are now on sale for $50 in advance/$60 at the door, tickets include two cocktails, champagne toast and island-inspired cuisine.
7- New Year’s Eve Gala at Hyatt Regency Newport:
Ring in 2017 at the Hyatt Regency Newport’s New Year’s Eve Gala! Tickets are $119 per person or $238 per couple.
8 -Laugh In The New Year With The Bit Players: 7 p.m., 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. shows
There is no better way to bring in the new year than with laughter! Come see RI’s most award-winning comedy troupe, The Bit Players, as they present their annual New Years EVE night of comedy at The Firehouse Theater. THREE shows in one night (7pm, 9pm, & 11pm) each one hour long and ALL are BYOB! The first show (7pm) will be Family Friendly this year so bring the kids, get out of the house and share of a laugh with everyone. The second show (9pm) is our most popular every year so get your tickets early. And the third show (11pm) will watch the ball drop in Times Square at midnight on our video display.
The Bit Players always hit the stage with their hilarious improv comedy inspired by audience suggestions (much like “Whose Line is it Anyway”) full of larger than life characters, hysterical musical numbers, and the quickest wit you’ll ever see. We encourage ALL guests to make sure you get tickets in advance, shows often sell out. Shows will start at 7pm, 9pm, and 11pm. The doors will open a half-hour before each show. 10 – New Year’s Eve at Newport Blues Cafe:
Enjoy New Year’s Eve, dinner and live music at Newport Blues Cafe! Entertainment will be provided after dinner by Take It To The Bridge. Entry just for entertainment is $20, dinner and entry for 1 is $49 and dinner and entry for two is $95. More Information & Menu
11 – New Year’s Eve at Castle Hill Inn:
Enjoy a Five Course Tasting Menu at Castle Hill Inn on New Year’s Eve. First seating reservations between 5:45 p.m. – 6:45 p.m., $105 per person. Second seating reservations between 7:45 p.m. – 9:45 p.m., $145 per person. Second seating includes champagne toast and dancing at midnight.
12 – New Year’s Eve at Vanderbilt Grace:
Toast to the midnight bells with a glass of champagne and welcome the arrival of 2017 before dancing the night away. A five course dinner will be served from 6 p.m. 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. seating.

14 – New Year’s Eve Public Paranormal Investigation at Elks Lodge: 3 p.m. – 10 p.m.
JK Paranormal invite you to join themon December 31st when the Newport Elks Lodge gives themus access to their often locked and private third floor for our first New Year’s Eve investigation with the spirits. This location has a rich and unique history. It is on the site of where the Atlantic House Hotel once stood which housed the Naval Academy who referred to it as Paradise. It was the location of the first public roller skating rink in the US and in it’s time was a popular resort location for the wealthy. When the hotel was demolished Parkgate was built for the Stitt family as a summer home. Want to hear more? Come for a tour.

MainSail is offering a $49, three-course prix fixe menu in addition to the regular menu, and the Skiff Bar is having a 1920s themed NYE party from 9pm to 1am.
