The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a “Wind Chill Advisory” for our area. This advisement goes into effect this evening and will continue through tomorrow morning. Temperatures are expected to be as low as 11 degrees with wind chill values that could be as low as -10 degrees.

The Newport Emergency Management Agency is advising residents and those in need that the following warming center locations will be open for those needing to seek relief from the cold.
