Don’t want to travel as far as Maine or Vermont? Boston is your next best bet. Another city up and coming in the Craft Beer Industry. Towns Such as Somerville and Cambridge you can find multiple breweries and restaurants who carry their beers.
Here are some of our favorites, what to look for at your favorite liquor store and what you can find at the Wharf Pub.

Lord Hobo:
There are two locations you can visit. The brewery is located in Woburn, MA where you can visit the tasting room MondaySunday. Their second location is based out of Cambridge, MA which is known as they’re beer bar where you can find a huge variety of craft beers, Not just Lord Hobo.
Currently at the Pub we offer:
Lord Hobo Steal this Can (nonetheless an IPA in a can) and Hobo Life (Session IPA) on draft.
Bantam Cider:
Located the town over in Somerville, MA. They’re tasting room is open FridaySunday. At the pub we offer:
Bantam Rojo, A mild cherry sour cider with a tart finish.
Bantam Wunderkind, Fermented with flower blossom honey and a variety of apples in a can.
Cambridge Brewing Company:
You guessed it, Located in Cambridge, MA. Not only can you enjoy delicious beer but food at their brewpub as well. Currently at the pub we have:
CBC’s Flower Child (American IPA dry-hopped with 6 different hops) in a can.
Harpoon Brewery:
Whether you’re in Boston or Vermont, Don’t forget to hit up Harpoon Brewery!
Located in Windsor, VT and Boston, MA. It’s no secret that Harpoon is one of the biggest breweries out there. Currently at the Pub we carry:
  • Harpoon Flannel Friday (to get you in the mood for those campfire nights) Hoppy amber ale with  citrus and piney flavor.
  • Harpoon Take 5 Session IPA first brewed in 2014, Take 5 quickly became a summer seasonal. Enjoy one on our Porch.
  • Harpoon 30th Anniversary Ale (the first beer made by Harpoon) to celebrate 30 years! Mild and fruity with a malty backbone.
Mighty Squirrel Brewery:
Brewery located in Boston, MA. Celebrating Mighty moments for the past two years. Currently at the pub we have:
Mighty Squirrel IPA made with papaya, citrus and mango. This beer is hearty and full with a lot of flavor.

Ryan Belmore is the Owner and Publisher of What's Up Newp. He was born and raised in Rhode Island and graduated from Coventry High School. He serves as Vice President of Fort Adams Trust and serves on the Board of Directors for Potter League for Animals. Ryan also is currently the Senior Editor - North America for Mountain News, publisher of OnTheSnow.
