Becky Goodrich, 48, of Newport, passed on Tuesday, March 29, 2016. She was born in Newport, Rhode Island on September 12, 1967; she was the daughter of the late Bruce and Maureen Goodrich.
Becky graduated from Middletown High School. She received her Bachelor’s in Psychology at the University of Rhode Island and her Master’s in Education at the University of Texas at Arlington. She lovingly nurtured and educated impoverished children at Fannin Elementary School in Grand Prairie, Texas. When in Rhode Island, she worked on Goat Island in Newport.
She is survived by her loving son, Tyler Conlan, a student at URI, and the light of her life. She also leaves her sister, Kelly Pickell, and her family, as well as her dear friend Ronald Nalle.
A blessed service and internment on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at 11:30am in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trail, East Providence, RI.
