The Newport Fire Department responded to Clinton Avenue on Wednesday for an unresponsive male.
The 30 year old Newport resident was transported to Newport Hospital and then was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
This incident is under investigation by the Newport Police Criminal Investigation Division to determine how he sustained his injuries.
