In case you missed it, it was a free-form kind of Friday on The Open Forum today on WADK 1540 AM.

Despite some technical errors to start the show (you’ll hear the awkwardness), we were able to catch up with a lot of guests about a variety of topics.

12:45 p.m. – Representative Carson dialed into the program to chat about Rhode Island’s Tourism Campaign, Sea Level Rise, Ethics and some other things she is working on over the final four weeks of the General Assembly Session.

1:00 p.m. – Musician Alan Bernstein gave his a few minutes to chat about an upcoming show on Sunday, May 15th from 12pm to 3pm at the Fifth Element that includes the Alan Bernstein quartet with Alan, Mac Chrupcala, Mike Coffey and guest artists Curt and Girard Ramm.

1:15 p.m. – Three Rogers High School Seniors are hosting a 5k for Bobby Forster on Saturday, May 14th and called into the show during their lunch break to let us know all about the event and why they are doing it.

1:30 p.m. – Rachel Calabro from Save The Bay checked in to chat about  Save The Bay to offer StormReporter Training for community members wanting to help photograph high tide and storm events that threaten low-lying areas

1:45 p.m. – Tom Perrotti from Common Fence Music gave us a call and a few minutes of his time to chat about Singer-songwriter Brenda Bennett, a Member of Prince’s Harmony Groups, Will Perform in Portsmouth
