Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus shared that Joe Cardona’s request to return as Long Snapper for the New England Patriots in 2016 has been approved on the Dan Patrick Show on Friday, May 13th.

Cardona split time between the New England Patriots and the Naval Preparatory Academy in Newport during the 2015/2016 NFL season.

There were reports that Cardona may face deployment in 2016.
