Island Moving Co. (IMC) dancers and staff invite the public to “From Kazakhstan With Love,” an informal opportunity to learn about the Company’s recently completed two week tour of three cities in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The gathering will be at the Jamestown Arts Center on Wednesday, May 18th beginning at 7pm. There will be photos and videos from the company’s performances and outreach programs, and dancers and staff will tell stories about the incredibleexperience they just returned from.
IMC traveled to Kazakhstan as part of its Great Friends Touring Project exchange with Samruk Dance and was honored to be sponsored by the US Embassy and Consulate there as part of the 25th Anniversary of US/Kazakh relations.
