On Tuesday May 24 the Viking Community will celebrate the 2nd Annual Senior Launch Day.

In the spirit of the First Lady’s “Reach Higher” initiative, this exciting event brings RHS together to celebrate the many college, work, and military destinations of our senior class. Each senior will have a chance to share his or her post-secondary plan at this assembly.

Additionally, each senior will be presented with a gift bag filled with special notes from our teachers and staff. The assembly is sponsored by the RHS Guidance Department and College Advising Corps college adviser Jessica Mardo.

The College Advising Corps at Brown University has been advising students throughout Rhode Island for nearly a decade and the Newport position is generously supported by the van Beuren Foundation.

The 2nd Annual Senior Launch Day will begin at 12:45 PM in the Rogers High School Auditorium. Community members and parents of our senior students are welcome to attend. Refreshments to follow.

Please contact Jessica Mardo, RHS College Adviser, at 401-847-6235 ext. 2632 with any questions.
