ABC News and Boston Globe are reporting that a “healing” event/session on sexual abuse that was scheduled to take place during St. George’s Alumni Weekend has been cancelled.
St. George’s was reportedly receiving threats of boycotts and other protests from victims of the alleged sexual abuse allegations who shared that it was premature to host the event while the allegations are still under investigation.
The school is looking for a way to acknowledge the allegations during the Alumni Weekend.
