Ilana Katz Katz, fiddler, novelist, visual artist: Ilana Katz Katz’s fiddling stems from the old-time Appalachian tradition and dives into the blues from time to time. Her unique style as a solo artist and in a band has taken her to the stage with greats such as Ronnie Earl, Bobby Radcliff, Joe Moss, Diane Blue, Cedric Watson, and the Ultrasonic Rock Orchestra, to name a few. While her mainstay is blues and old-time fiddle, she is a versatile, improvisational musician who is as comfortable performing solo shows as she is being featured as the fiddler in 14 piece rock bands.
