What bar or restaurant do you think serves up the best selection of craft beer? Take the poll below!
In no particular order, here are the top 10 great places for craft beer in Newport, RI!
1. NEWPORT STORM BREWERY
It would be down right wrong for us to tell ya of where all the great pubs, bars, and restaurants are in Newport and NOT mention Newport’s own Newport Storm Brewery. Put some time aside and fit in a brewery tour – they are open every day except Tuesday (that’s bottling day of course!).
Newport Storm Brewery | 293 JT Connell Road| (401) 849-5232
2. THE WHARF PUB
The Wharf Pub offers more than 20 New England draft beers on draft and many more great options in their very extensive beer list. In the spring, summer and fall, you can find many other great New England brews out on their new back porch. Pair a great selection of craft beer with creative comfort food made from scratch and Wharf Pub will be “the place to be at” in 2016.

3. NOREY’S STAR RESTAURANT
Featuring over 150 Microbrews – Norey’s Star Restaurant is for the ultimate beer lover. Noreys offers an extensive wine list and live music each and every Wednesday night. It could be said Norey’s Star Restaurant is Newport’s greatest place for beer lovers. We wouldn’t argue that at all.

4. BRICK ALLEY PUB
If you think about Brick Alley Pub and don’t think about their great craft beer selection, you’re drinking your way through this town wrong. Brick Alley throughout 2014 and 2015 brought in very limited release beers, like Goose Island’s Black Friday Release, where they were the only place in the state you could find the brew. They’ve done a great job of supporting the RI local craft beer scene and it shows with their relationship with Grey Sail (one of few places you can find Captain’s Daughter throughout the most popular time for the brew) and other local breweries. Brick Alley works hard to bring in great seasonal craft beers, limited releases and some of the hottest selling new brews. Keep an eye out for their updated beer menus as they change with each season, and DO NOT MISS their craft beer dinners.
