Thames Street Kitchen

There’s a new restaurant concept that will soon take over 677 Thames Street, formerly Thames Street Kitchen.

According to a City Of Newport Victualing License Application, the restaurant space will soon operate as a restaurant under the name of  “Winner Winner”. It is unknown what concept the restaurant will have or what it will offer.

The restaurant victualing license application is signed by “Anna Burnley” and “Anna Jenkins/Burnley”, formerly an Owner/Operator of Thames Street Kitchen.

Thames Street Kitchen was owned and operated by Chefs Chad Hoffer and Tyler Burnley, along with their wives Julia and Anna Jenkins. Chad and Tyler met back in 2005 while working in the kitchen at BLT Prime in New York City. They quickly became friends and later married the twin sisters. Fast forward several years and they have both settled in Newport (their wives hometown) and opened tsk early summer of 2011.

Thames Street Kitchen, a.k.a. “TSK”, took to their Facebook Page on Saturday, November 14th to announce they would permanently close on December 31st, 2015. Read the story here – Thames Street Kitchen Announces They Will Permanently Close.

What’sUpNewp has confirmed that the former owners of Thames Street Kitchen were interested in possibly purchasing Willy’s Burger Bar.

The Joe Fitzpatrick Team of Re/Max Newport confirmed recently that Willy’s Burger Bar was back on the market after a recent possible sale fell through.

This story will be updated if/as more information received.
