Del McCoury and David Grisman (Del & Dawg) will be heading to Newport, R.I. to play the 2016 Newport Folk Festival on Saturday, July 23rd.

Del McCoury and David Grisman are old friends and are considered Bluegrass Legends.

The announcement was made by Newport Folk Festival on their social media accounts on March 23rd.

The entire 2016 Newport Folk Festival is being rolled out (almost) daily on their social media accounts, Neko Case, k.d. lang and Laura Veirs are the 15th artists to be announced for the annual festival at Fort Adams State Park.
