Flight Of The Conchords Newport Folk Festival

Flight of the Conchords, a New Zealand-based comedy band, will perform in Newport, R.I. on Friday, July 22nd at the 2016 Newport Folk Festival.

The duo’s comedy and music became the basis of a BBC radio series and then the television series that aired for two seasons on HBO.

The entire 2016 Newport Folk Festival is being rolled out (almost) daily on their social media accounts, Flight Of The Conchords are the 10th act to be announced for the annual festival at Fort Adams State Park.

St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Raury and Ray LaMontagne (backed by My Morning Jacket) are also schedule to perform on Friday, July 22nd.

While most tickets are sold out for the 2016 festival, Friday tickets are still available at http://bit.ly/1PiJh4a.

The 2016 Newport Folk Festival will take place at Fort Adams State Park on July 22nd, 23rd and 24th.

Belmore visits Newport every couple of weeks to support the 12+ paid contributors What'sUpNewp has on the ground across Rhode Island, a place he called home for 39 years.

Belmore is a member of Local Independent Online News (LION) Publishers, Society of Professional Journalists, and the North American Snowsports Journalists Association.

In 2020, Belmore was named Member of the Year by LION and won the Arts & Cultural Alliance of Newport County's Dominque Award.
