Ballard Park

Friends of Ballard Park is hosting its 11th Annual Illuminated Garden on Thursday, February 18thFriday, February 19th and Saturday, February 20th.

The 11th Annual Illuminated Garden is a free event which features light displays and sculptures set up in the three acre quarry meadow of Ballard Park.  Volunteers are needed to help with event set up, during the event and with event breakdown:

Wednesday, February 17:

  • 9am to 3pm: set up lights

Thursday, February 18:

  • 2 pm to 4pm: set up lights
  • 4pm to 10pm: set up luminaries, greet tour goers, hand out programs, and break down event

Friday, February 19:

  • 4pm to 10pm: set up luminaries, greet tour goers, hand out programs, and break down event

Saturday, February 20:

  • 4pm to 10pm: set up luminaries, greet tour goers, hand out programs, and break down event

After the event

  • Volunteers will be needed to sort and check lights at our office.  Can be done after school at mutually convenient scheduled times.
