[contextly_auto_sidebar] Fan-To-Fan Ticket Exchange

Back in December after seeing tickets quickly go up on 3rd party sites just minutes after tickets went on sale, Newport Folk Festival announced that they would be exploring the possibility of a direct fan to fan way of selling and exchanging tickets.

As promised, Newport Folk Festival now will offer a direct fan to fan option to safely buy or sell Newport Folk tickets. Folks can now exchange Adult single and multi-day tickets* at face value and rest easy that these are Ticketmaster Verified.

  • Using their Ticketmaster accounts, fans can post Adult tickets for resale and other fans can buy them.
  • This is a safe, legal way to pass on a ticket you can’t use by selling it to another fan at face value.
  • Resale fees apply to both the buyer and the seller.
  • Newport Folk does not make money of any kind from these resales.

*Please note Child tickets cannot be resold through this method and 3-day and 2-day passes cannot be split by individual day for resale or transfer.

To sell your tickets, log in to your Ticketmaster account online or from your mobile phone and look for the ‘Sell Your Tickets’ option.  To purchase tickets, search for the event you wish to purchase for and look for the ‘Re-sale Tickets’ option tab.
