One of the most prolific and talented marine photographers in the world of sailing, van der Wal was born in Holland and raised in South Africa, where he soon discovered a passion for ocean racing. His skills landed him a crew position aboard the Flyer II in the Whitbread Round the World Race in 1981-82.
With camera in tow, the race was won, and the visceral images van der Wal shot launched his photography career. Join us for an adventure as we travel with world-class sailor and acclaimed photographer, Onne van der Wal.
