The ACA, in collaboration with Newport’s renowned Island Moving Company invites you “Behind the Scenes” for a rehearsal of IMC’s holiday classic ballet, “Newport Nutcracker at Rosecliff” at 1pm on Sunday, November 22nd.
Witness an afternoon of controlled pandemonium in the magnificent rooms of Rosecliff as the troupe of dancers prepare for its popular “Newport Nutcracker at Rosecliff.” You’ll observe volunteers decorating the dining room for the first act party scene; the children’s cast will be learning about how to apply their stage make-up; and you’ll watch a walkthrough of Act I in Rosecliff’s magnificent ballroom.
The event is one hour long and the tour will be led by Executive Director Dominique Alfandre; participants will meet Artistic Director Miki Ohlsen and other cast members and staff.
