Jimmy’s Saloon is welcoming bands from England, Ontario, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maine and more throughout the month of October 2015!

“If you enjoy incredible live shows with out of state touring acts then be sure to go to JimmysNewport.com and check out all the listings”, said Andy Hunter, Entertainment Coordinator at Jimmy’s.

Friday 10/2 features folk-punk courtesy of Out Of System Transfer and Sun Abduction (both from NYC) with Providence’s Pyramid. The RI legend Sasquatch from The Sick-a-Billys will be joined by Philly’s Stolen Rhodes and Boston’s Sunshine Riot for an evening of country, rock, blues, etc. on Saturday 10/3.

Atlanta’s Sydney Eloise & The Palms have been getting a good buzz lately on NPR and will be gracing the Jimmy’s stage on Wednesday 10/7 with local favorites The Little Compton Band. The second weekend of the month brings a bunch of heavy hitters – The Silks (Prov), Bella’s Bartok (Northampton, MA) & Warbler Roost (NPT) on 10/9 presented by Tweed Leisure and Toronto’s After Funk with The Cosmic Factory on 10/10. Also don’t forget that Willie and the Giant are performing on Sunday 10/11 all the way from Nashville!

Rock out to “darkly inventive Americana” music from Portland, ME’s Muddy Ruckus on Friday 10/16. They’ll be supported locally by the indomitable Newport band Townman Charged and Michael Graham & The Lewd Waiters out of Providence. On Saturday 10/17 it’s all about the Daryl Hance Powermuse from Jacksonville, FL! Daryl was the lead guitar player for the seminal rock band Mofro and is now striking out on his own with his new power trio. RI/NY’s Evan Brum & The Royal High and NY’s Mike Hubbard round out the bill.

Crazy Snake Rebellion will be here in the states on Saturday 10/24! This Leeds, United Kingdom rock band is also poised to tour Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and more in the near future. Joining them for this one-of-a-kind night is Newport’s We Own Land and Providence’s SEXCoffee.

The last week of the month features 3 big Halloween events: Turtlehandz from NJ with IONEYE, DrumBus & Night Enders on 10/28, the Tweed Leisure Halloween Special on 10/30 and the mighty Balam close out the month with their last show ever on 10/31.
