1 – Mermaid Masterpieces Mermaid Tail
Monday at 7pm
Join VanGogh Pizza to paint the Mermaid Masterpieces Mermaid Tail! The cost for the event is $35.00 per adult and $15.00 per child. Your ticket comes with a slice and your own take home masterpiece! Don’t forget they are BYOB so bringing a bottle of wine is always a good idea! Stop in to VanGogh Pizza and purchase tickets today or pay at the time of the class.
2 – Broadway All Star Chef’s Challenge
Wednesday from 6pm – 8pm
Four local restaurants create new, exciting dishes based on theme ingredients each week. Featured Restaurants are: Tavern on Broadway, Boru Noodle Bar, Pour Judgement & Hope. Only 10 tickets available per event! $45 per ticket. To reserve your spot, contact Newport Food Tours.
3 – Wine Class: Understanding Sake
Wednesday
Sake is to Japan, what wine is to France. It is part of their culinary culture, and it is a delicious beverage that can accompany their own wonderful foods, as well as menus far beyond their borders. This class is designed to introduce you to four distinct types of sake, so you get a sense of the variety and diversity of styles, while also identifying your own interests and tastes for this elegant wine.
4 – RIIFF Short Films of Tension & Turmoil
Thursday at 7pm
The RIIFF will screen short films of tension & turmoil on Thursday at Jamestown Arts Center. $10 suggested donation at the door. FEATURING: BACK TO EARTH, A BOY’S LIFE, THE CROP, PLAYBACK, SEBASTIAN AND THEM, SEULE, A WAY OUT, YIKES
5 – Halloween Costume Run 2015
Thursday at 6:15 pm
It will be a special night for the local “Run & Chug” running group as they don costumes and run throughout town. Then they will return for the usual great times at THE FASTNET PUB, along with the additional thrilling “Best Costume” vote. Event is open to the public and all runners welcome. Facebook Event
