Lou Lou’s Decor, a boutique of fine furnishings and home accessories, will soon move from Clock Tower Square in Portsmouth to Bellevue Avenue in Newport, RI.

Before moving into their new home in The City By The Sea adjacent to the International tennis Hall Of Fame & Museum, Lou Lou’s will have a moving sale August 28 – 30 at their current location at 104 Clock Tower Square.
The moving sale will include $5 & $10 bargains on drapery hardware, fabric remnants, furniture, lighting, artwork, accessories, and much more!

Lou Lou’s Decor opened its doors in the summer of 1998 in Tiverton Four Corners as a Boutique Home Furnishings store. As the client base grew so did the demand for interior design consultation. Filling that need, owner Stacy Carlson brought her passion for design to her clients.

In 2005, expanded the interior designer staff to help with the growing demand for interior design services.

The fall of 2009 saw big changes for Lou Lou’s as it made the move from Tiverton to Portsmouth, RI. In addition to featuring a large selection of beautifully styled furnishings and home accessories, the new store also has an in house design center where Stacy and her fellow designers help clients turn their houses into homes.

Ryan Belmore is the Owner and Publisher of What's Up Newp. He was born and raised in Rhode Island and graduated from Coventry High School. He serves as Vice President of Fort Adams Trust and serves on the Board of Directors for Potter League for Animals. Ryan also is currently the Senior Editor - North America for Mountain News, publisher of OnTheSnow. Ryan is a member of Local Independent Online News (LION) Publishers and North American Snowsports Journalists Association (NASJA).
