Representative Lauren Carson (D-Dist. 75, Newport) has announced that she will hold her summer constituent meeting on Tuesday, August 8th at 6:30 p.m. at the Artillery Company of Newport.

“I enjoy holding constituent meetings throughout the year as a means for gathering ideas for my work at the State House, and as a way to inform myself about what matters most to my constituents. I chose to hold this one at the Artillery Company of Newport so it will also be an opportunity for people to enjoy a pleasant summer evening in Newport exploring some of the interesting historic treasures the museum has to offer,” said Representative Carson.

All District 75 residents are welcome for a general discussion and an opportunity to explore the Artillery Company’s extensive collection of collection of cannons from the Revolutionary War through World War II, uniforms and historic artifacts.
