Salve Regina University’s department of music, theatre and dance will present its production of Godspell with performances scheduled March 30-April 9 at the Casino Theatre, 9 Freebody St.

Based on the Book of Matthew, Godspell, written by Academy Award and Tony Award winner Stephen Schwartz and John-Michael Teblack, is a vibrant and joyful telling of the final days of Jesus Christ. An electrifying cast and 4-piece band takes us on a journey of discovery filled with blistering humor, heart and emotion as we are reminded that community is the most important and valuable gift we can have.

Performances will be given at 8 p.m. on March 30-31 and April 1, 6, 7 and 8. Matinee performances will be presented at 2 p.m. on April 1-2 and 8-9.

The Cast includes, Zach Baily, Kenneth Benell, Julia Curtain, Racquel Jean-Louis,Daniel Landino, Madisyn Mugavero, Vanessa Sciolto,Bradley Simpson, Jillian Tereshka and Brianna Tosado.

The crew includes Kathryn Coppa, Ming Fen Congdon, Colin Burke, Darren Christie, Alexandra D’Agostino, Laura Jedynasty and Morgan Salpietro.
