The Savannah Bananas play Gillette Stadium for the first time this Friday and Saturday, Aug. 28 and 29, taking on the Loco Beach Coconuts at 6:30 p.m. each night.
For Rhode Island fans, the MBTA and Keolis are running a round-trip special event train from Providence to Saturday’s game only. It departs Providence at 4:15 p.m., stops in Pawtucket/Central Falls at 4:21, Attleboro at 4:35 and Mansfield at 4:45, arriving at Gillette at 5:30. The return train leaves 30 minutes after the game ends.
Tickets are $20 round trip and available only through the mTicket app. They must be bought before boarding, everyone including children needs one, and regular Commuter Rail passes are not valid. Sales stop once capacity is reached.
Driving requires a prepaid parking pass, purchased with the same email as the game tickets and matched to the correct date. Lots open at 1 p.m. and gates at 4:30.
Gillette enforces a clear bag policy — no purses, backpacks or shoulder bags, and the stadium will not hold them. The venue is entirely cashless, with cash-to-card machines on site.
