Island Rhodes Music Festival Debuts August 15-16 at Centreville Bank Stadium

A new music festival is coming to Rhode Island this summer, with Centreville Bank Stadium set to host the inaugural Island Rhodes Music Festival on Aug. 15-16.

The two-day event will be the first-ever concert festival at the Pawtucket waterfront venue, which sits on the banks of the Seekonk River. Headliners include Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Rebelution and The Roots, with additional artists to be announced. All acts will perform on a turntable stage throughout the weekend.

The festival is produced by Grand Rising Curations, whose founder Dave Niedbalski cited the stadium’s riverfront setting as a key draw.

“New England has always supported this music at a high level,” Niedbalski said. “Centreville Bank Stadium gave us a unique opportunity — especially with its riverfront setting and built-in premium experiences — to create something the market is craving and that feels connected to the community.”

In addition to performances, Island Rhodes will feature curated food vendors and premium VIP experiences. Ticket options include SVIP, VIP Pit + Riverlounge, GA Floor and general admission.

“Bringing Island Rhodes Festival to Centreville Bank Stadium as our first-ever music event is a defining milestone in the story of our venue and for Rhode Island,” said stadium General Manager Paul Byrne.

A presale runs Thursday, April 16, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with tickets going on sale to the general public Friday, April 17, at 10 a.m. Early-bird tickets start at $150 all-in, with a layaway option available for $25 down.
