The Newport International Boat Show will mark its 55th year this fall, with organizers announcing the event will take place September 17-20, 2026, at the Newport Yachting Center in downtown Newport.
“We are so excited to announce the dates for our 55th annual show,” said Lisa Knowles, show director. “Every year we add more to the experience for attendees, exhibitors and sponsors and this year, plans are well underway. With well-known companies from across the state and around the world already committed to being a part of our emerald anniversary, we are positive that what we have in store will make this year one of the best yet.”
The show spans more than 17 acres across six connecting sites in Newport’s historic downtown and serves as the traditional kickoff to boat show season in the Northeast. This year’s docks will feature new sailboats and powerboats, including some making their U.S. debut. Off the water, visitors can browse hundreds of marine products, services and accessories. Educational classroom sessions, in-water boating courses and the Windward VIP lounge experience are also on the schedule.
The show runs Thursday through Saturday, September 17-19, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, September 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets go on sale June 1, 2026.
In 2025, the show generated $22.5 million in economic impact for the local economy.
