Providence Restaurant Weeks returns this month for its 20th year, with nearly 100 restaurants across the state offering prix fixe menus, lunch and dinner specials and creative drink offerings.

The two-week culinary event runs Jan. 25 through Feb. 7 and features restaurants from Providence to the West Bay, East Bay and beyond, according to GoProvidence, which organizes the annual promotion.

“Since introducing Providence Restaurant Weeks 20 years ago, we’ve seen Providence’s culinary reputation continue to rise,” said Kristen Adamo, GoProvidence president and CEO. “Food & Wine recently named us one of America’s Next Great Food Cities, highlighting the chefs, restaurants and diverse dining scene that set us apart.”

This year’s lineup includes several first-time participants, including Yellow Door Taqueria and Ten Prime Seafood in Providence, along with the recently reopened Metacom Kitchen in Warren.

Participating restaurants span communities including Bristol, Cranston, East Greenwich, East Providence, Johnston, North Providence, Pawtucket, Providence, Richmond, Smithfield, Warren, Warwick and West Warwick. Chardonnay’s Restaurant in Seekonk, Massachusetts, is also participating.

Several participating restaurants will be featured in the upcoming Providence Culinary Collective, a series of chef-driven food events launching later this winter.

The event is sponsored by Navigant Credit Union and Toast.

A full list of participating restaurants and their menus is available at ProvidenceRestaurantWeeks.com. Additional restaurants may be added throughout the event.
