10 Bull Street Newport, RI 02840-2702 (Hogan Associates Christie's)

Even with the holiday shuffle last week, the local market didn’t skip a beat. A short week didn’t slow buyers down and if anything, it reminded us that the people who are still active right now are locked in and persistent.

Inventory is still tight across Jamestown, Newport, Middletown, Portsmouth, and Tiverton, which means opportunity really does favor the ready. The buyers who are involved are the ones finding success. On the flip side, sellers who bring their homes to market with intention, solid pricing, and strong presentation are continuing to win. Good strategy will always beat the calendar.

As we roll into the last month of the year, it’s worth remembering that timing isn’t dictated by a season or a holiday; it’s dictated by your goals, your next chapter, and what you want for yourself or your family. Opportunity is always out there, and always present for those paying attention.

If you’re curious about the local market or want insight on any of the recent sales, please reach out. Happy Holidays, and happy house hunting!
