Sakonnet Vineyard to Host Little Compton Fire and Police Departments’ 5th Annual Trunk-or-Treat During “Hallowine Day” on Saturday, October 25th

Sakonnet Vineyard will host its fifth annual Trunk-or-Treat event in partnership with the Little Compton Fire and Police departments during the vineyard’s “Hallowine Day” celebration Saturday, Oct. 25.

The family-friendly event runs from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the vineyard, located at 162 West Main Road. The Trunk-or-Treat portion takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., inviting families and local businesses to decorate their vehicles and distribute candy to trick-or-treaters. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy a hay maze and pumpkin bowling, meet alpacas from Kave Rock Alpacas from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and listen to live music by Elise Black from 1 to 4 p.m. The vineyard will also offer seasonal beverages including mulled wine, spooky sangria and hot chocolate.

Founded in 1975, Sakonnet Vineyard is New England’s oldest vineyard and sits on 169 acres with more than 20 acres under vine. The vineyard has been named “Best Vineyard” in Boston Magazine’s New England Travel Awards and received the Editors’ Choice for Best Vineyard in Rhode Island from Yankee Magazine.
