Middletown’s girls lacrosse team pulled off a close 10-8 win against Cranston West on Thursday (April 17) at Gaudet Field.

The Islanders came out strong, racking up seven goals before the break. Cranston West made a late push, closing the gap to just two goals as the clock wound down.

Summer Ashness was on fire for Middletown, netting four goals. Five of her teammates also got in on the scoring action.
