Meet your new best friend, Reckless – this week’s adoptable dog of the week!
Available for adoption from the Potter League for Animals in Middletown, Reckless is a one-year-old male Australian Cattle Dog (Red Heeler)/mix.
“This sweet boy is looking for a special home where he can continue to grow and thrive,” Potter League shares on its website. “Reckless is a little shy and cautious when it comes to meeting new people, but with time, patience, and gentle encouragement, he will warm up and show you his loving and loyal side”.
While he’s still learning to trust and get comfortable in new environments, Reckless is making great progress, according to the Potter League.
“Reckless would do best in a calm, quiet household with owners who have experience working with shy or timid dogs,” says Potter League. “He’ll benefit from a secure, safe environment where he can slowly acclimate to new situations at his own pace. Having another dog in the home, especially a calm and gentle companion, would be a huge plus for Reckless”.
