Forum Lodge #391 Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America is offering three $1,000 scholarships to Aquidneck Island public high school seniors with Italian heritage.
The Anna M. Ripa Memorial Scholarship is available to students graduating in June 2025 who are heading to college that fall.
To be eligible, students need to have kept up at least a B average throughout high school. The scholarship committee will focus mainly on an essay where applicants explain how their Italian ancestry has shaped their lives.
Students can pick up applications from their school’s guidance office. The deadline to turn them in is Thursday, May 1.
