Salve Regina University has announced its Dean’s List for the fall 2024 semester, highlighting 33 Newport County students for their outstanding academic performance.

To make the Dean’s List, full-time students must earn a semester GPA of 3.6 or higher while taking at least 12 graded credits. Part-time students need to achieve a 3.8 GPA with a minimum of six credits.

The recognized students come from various Newport County communities, including Newport, Middletown, Portsmouth, Tiverton, Jamestown, and Little Compton.

Salve Regina, established by the Sisters of Mercy in 1947, is a Catholic, coeducational university that has been providing higher education for over 75 years. The school currently has more than 2,700 undergraduate and graduate students from across the globe.

The university offers a wide range of academic programs, including 48 undergraduate majors, 13 master’s degree programs, combined bachelor’s/master’s programs, and doctoral studies.
