Lady Luck has smiled on two lottery players in Middletown, with one pocketing a cool $100,000 and another sitting on an unclaimed $32,000 jackpot.

A Chicopee, Mass. man hit the jackpot playing the “20X” Instant Game at Island Food Mart on West Main Road. He’s already planning to pay off his SUV, take a well-deserved vacation, and treat his grandkids to a new swimming pool.

The Rhode Island Lottery is also on the hunt for the owner of a $32,000 Wild Money jackpot ticket from the Jan. 27 drawing. This golden ticket was bought at Joe’s Kwik Marts, also on West Main Road in Middletown.

If you’ve recently bought a lottery ticket in Middletown, it’s time to dig through your pockets and check those numbers!

Other recent winners include a Woonsocket woman who scored $10,000 on a scratch ticket in East Providence, and several Daily Numbers players who’ve claimed prizes between $10,000 and $32,500.
