The Jane Pickens Theater & Event Center (The JPT) has announced its Holidays at The JPT series, which features a variety of holiday classic films, community businesses and organizations, and live musical performances to help guests prepare for the holiday season.
“At The JPT, we strive to make every visit an extraordinary experience, and the Holidays at The JPT series embodies that spirit. Whether it’s the glitz and glamour of Miracle on 34th Street, the thrill of Die Hard, or the heartwarming joy of Elf, each event transforms our historic theater into a festive celebration. There’s no better place to embrace the magic of the season than here at The JPT,” said Alex Whitney, General Manager of JPT.
Miracle on 34th Street (Tuesday, December 10)When tasked with hiring the Santa who will pose with kids at Macy’s, Dorey enlists a man with the curious name of Kris Kringle (Richard Attenborough), who claims to be Santa himself. His assertions are met with scoffs and threats of institutionalization, but a young lawyer (Dylan McDermott), along with Susan and Dorey, comes to his defense. This December, Little Chateau is bringing the glitz and glam of New York City to Jane Pickens Theater.
Guests are encouraged to dress in their city best—sequins, furs, or even festive pajamas—for a New York at Christmastime evening at the Jane Pickens Theater! Doors open at 6:00 PM, offering time to shop Little Chateau’s holiday pop-up, enjoy winter-themed cocktails, and listen to live music by the Chase Ceglie Jazz Trio before the screening of Miracle on 34th Street at 7:30 PM.
