The Community College of Rhode Island (CCI) will be hosting an Pasta & FAFSA night on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the CCRI Newport Campus. The event will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

All attendees will be able to enjoy a free pasta dinner with their family while also having the opportunity to meet with representatives from the college’s Admissions and Financial Aid departments. This event is geared towards helping students complete the 2024-25 FAFSA form.

The FAFSA form is used to apply for federal student aid. All students, regardless of status, are encouraged to complete this form. The federal government can provide grants, scholarships, work-study funds, and loans to students who are eligible. This form is also used to determine eligibility for the RI Promise program, which offers two free years at CCRI upon completion of high school.

If you are interested in applying for the 2024-25 FAFSA form, you can register online.
