Grey Sail Brewing of Rhode Island has announced the launch of its newest beer, Sea Maiden, a crisp and refreshing low-calorie light beer. With only 110 calories, Sea Maiden is a guilt-free indulgence that doesn’t compromise on taste or quality. Sea Maiden is a harmony of malt sweetness, a gentle touch of hops and a refreshing finish.

“Whether you’re lounging on the beach or enjoying a summer barbecue, Sea Maiden takes you on a voyage of flavor and fun,” says Alan Brinton, co-owner and founder of Grey Sail Brewing. “We are excited to introduce a new light beer to our core lineup – it will certainly be a go-to all summer long.”

Sea Maiden joins a strong lineup of fan favorites like Captain’s Daughter and Little Sister. Sea Maiden was inspired by the enchanting tales of mermaids who are said to embody the spirit of the sea, captivating sailors with their beauty and mystery. The logo features a stylized mermaid gracefully emerging from the waves, symbolizing the beer’s connection to the sea and its mythical allure.

“Sea Maiden offers an option for the new generation of beer drinkers, who are looking for a lighter option, while still maintaining flavor and quality,” said Carey Beralderi, Grey Sail’s Director of Sales. “With Sea Maiden, you can savor every moment without the worry!”

For over a decade, Grey Sail has been brewing quality, local craft beer. Their nine year-round offerings in addition to Sea Maiden include Captain’s Daughter, Dave’s Coffee Stout, Flagship, Flying Jenny, Haze, Ho!, Little Sister, Adrift and Pour Judgement IPA and Pilsner and seasonal favorites like Hazy Day, Great Ketch, Autumn Winds, Leaning Chimney and Kegnog. They employ 12 people full time and several part-time team members.

Located in Westerly, R.I., the brewery is dedicated to environmental responsibility, implementing eco-friendly practices throughout the brewing process to minimize its ecological footprint, including a new rooftop solar array to power its operation.

Sea Maiden is available in 12 oz cans and on draft at retail stores, bars and restaurants across Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts beginning March 20th, and at the Taproom on March 18th.
